Installation

Installation Notes

• Locate the Haldex control unit on the rear differential / rear axle assembly
• Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the old module
• Install the replacement unit and secure all mounting points properly
• Reconnect all electrical connectors and verify a secure fit
• In most cases no coding is required after installation
• If fitting a unit from an automatic / DSG vehicle into a manual gearbox car, perform Basic Settings in VCDS (22-AWD module, channel 20) to clear fault code 01315
• Perform a test drive and confirm proper AWD engagement
